Step up & Stand Out

Five amazing finalists give us five reasons to celebrate.  We often focus on the negatives and sometimes don’t see the talent and bright young lives doing amazing things.  The Young Caymanian Leadership Award Ceremony is held annually and identifies a young Caymanian who will spend the next year spreading a message of positive leadership through the community by making hundreds of public appearance all over the islands.

Nominations are open to all Caymanians who met the criterion.   The nomination committee votes by secret ballot and the results are tabulated by a local auditing firm.  Until the night of the awards, they are the only ones who now who the recipient will be.  Our congratulations to Briana Wilkerson, YCLA recipient 2016.  You can find out more at www.yclf.ky.
